SPECIFICATIONS
ENGINE - Six-cylinder Continental Red Seal, 3 3/8-inch bore by 4 1/2-inch stroke. Cylinders cast in block with detachable head. Aluminum crankcase.

HORSEPOWER - N.A.C.C. rating 37.34; actual 58 B.H.P. at 2600 R.P.M.
​
CRANKSHAFT - Four bearing, 2 1/4-inch diameter, perfectly balanced and free from vibration at all speeds.
​
CARBURETION - Stromberg carburetor and a combined inlet and exhaust manifold, utilizing the heat of the exhaust gases to obtain the ideal temperature for the preparation of low-grade fuels for consumption.
​
LUBRICATION - Forces feed to crankshaft main bearing and crank pin bearings. Oil spray lubricates the piston pin, bearings, cylinder walls and cam-shaft bearings.
​
COOLING - Centrifugal water pump, cellular type radiator with large cooling surface. Sylphon thermostat keeps water temperature in cylinder jackets at a uniform temperature, thereby improving efficiency of engine.
​
IGNITION - Delco distributor, driven by spiral gears.
​
STARTING - Delco starting motor with Bendix shift mounted on right side of engine. Starter switch mounted on toe-board.

LIGHTING - Delco generator, mounted on left side of engine and driven through flexible coupling. Head lamps, new drum-shape design with legal lens. Auxiliary bulb for parking. Tail lamp mounted on tire center. Two lamps mounted on instrument board.

GASOLINE SUPPLY - Stewart-Warner vacuum system with 23-gallon tank at rear.
​
CLUTCH - 10-inch dry-plate clutch with two asbestos fabric discs.
​
TRANSMISSION - Selective, sliding-gear type. Three speeds forward and one reverse. Shafts mounted on ball bearings. Lock on gear shift lever.
​
PROPELLER SHAFT - Spicer universal joints with 1 1/2 inch drive shaft.
​
DRIVE - Hotchkiss drive, the rear springs taking both the torque and the drive

REAR AXLE - One-piece pressed steal housing. Spiral bevel driving gears of alloy steel. Differential and pinion shaft mounted on roller bearings. Rear wheels have ball bearings.
​
FRONT AXLE - Drop forged, I-beam section, heat treated. Wheels mounted on roller bearings.
​
BRAKES - Two sets on rear wheels, 16-inch diameter drum. Service brake, 2 1/2-inch barrel external contracting; emergency brake, 2 1/4-inch band, internal expanding.
​
FRAME - 7-inch channel with wide flanges top and bottom. Cross tube at front end and four cross members with gussets, making a very rigid construction.
​
STEERING GEAR - Irreversible worm and full-gear type; steering arm of special steel, heat treated; 18-inch walnut steering-wheel with finger corrugations.
​
WHEELS - Best-grade hickory; artillery type; 12 spokes front and rear; 32-inch demountable rims.
​
TIRES - 32x4 cord tires, straight side; seven-passenger Sedan, 33x4.5.
​
SPRINGS - Semi-elliptic front and rear, 40-inch front, 58-inch rear. Springs are flat in loaded position.
​
INSTRUMENT BOARD - Circassian walnut veneer with aluminum moulding. Black-faced instruments with nickel flanges. These include 8-day clock, speedometer, oil-pressure gauge, ammeter, combination light and ignition switch with lock - carburetor control and two instrument lamps.

EQUIPMENT - Extra rim with lock, tool kit, jack, pump, motometer, and windshield cleaner.

WHEELBASE - 121 inches. Seven-passenger Sedan, Five-passenger Sport Sedan, Five-passenger Sport Touring, 128 inches.
