Five Passenger Brougham

This Bay State Brougham will appeal to all who admire luxurious appointments and smart lines in a closed car. It is a type of body that is well suited for town use as well as long-distance touring.

The seating arrangement is admirable. At the rear is a large cushion tilted at a comfortable angle and 47 inches wide, giving ample room for 3 passengers. This cushion has Marshall type springs over which is placed. A thick layer of curled hair, making it one of the most durable and comfortable cushions that can be devised. Another aid to easy riding is the arm-rest at each side, which is of the right shape and placed at just the right angle.

The two front seats are mounted on pedestals and can be tipped forward to permit entrance to the rear seat. These seats can also be adjusted forward or backward. When so desired, the seat next to the driver can be swiveled. The doors are unusually wide, 31 inches , providing easy entrance to the rear seat.

Those who use this car for touring will appreciate the large trunk at the rear, which is equipped with two large suit-cases, as well as a hat-box, in which can travel without being crushed my lady's choice chapeau. A boot slipping over the top and sides, held tight with snap fasteners, protects the trunk and its contents from dust and water. Polished nickel bars at the rear of the body add to the distinctive appearance. Both doors have large pockets in which small articles can be placed.

With the Brougham, as with other Bay State closed cars, you can have the choice of finish and a upholstery you desire. Most purchasers, however, prefer one of the standard colors: blue, maroon, or gray, with black fenders and aprons.
