Four-Passenger Coupe

The first glance at this Bay State Coupe will create a favorable impression, and a closer view will reveal the thought given to its design, and the skilled craftmanship with which it has been built.

The body is Bay State construction throughout, from the selection and seasoning of the wood to the finish coat of varnish. We are proud of Bay State coach work, and this Coupe is a good example of the painstaking methods used in our body department.

It is easy to cheapen a closed car body - paint and upholstery can be made to cover a multitude of sins of omission. But a visit to our factory at Framingham, which you are cordially invited to make, will demonstrate the honest construction of our bodies - selected and long-seasoned ash; 16-gauge aluminum sheets; nineteen coats of filler, paint, and varnish; high-grade hardware; and the best quality fabrics for the upholstery, including Marshall type springs and curled hair in the cushions.

The Coupe has ample room for four passengers, and the rear seat for two people measuring 39 by 20 inches. The driver's seat is 17 inches wide, and the auxiliary seat, which has arm-rests and cushions springs and can be folded out of the way, is also of ample dimensions. The doors are 26 inches wide. There are pockets in both doors. Like all Bay State closed cars, the back windows and the two side windows have roller curtains of heavy silk.

Storage space is provided in a commodious compartment at the rear. Smaller articles can be carried in a compartment back of the driver's seat.

As with all Bay State closed models, the colors of the body and upholstery can be varied to suit the customer, the standard features being a deep blue, maroon, or gray, with upholstery to match.

Under the body is the standard Bay State chassis with its 58-horsepower plant, without an equal for economy, flexibility, power, and speed, and with an ease of riding and driving your never encountered before in a car in the Bay State price field.
