Five-Passenger Sport Touring

Bay State Automobile Co.

Framingham, MA

The long, low lines, so suggestive of speed and power; the distinctive colors of top and body; the high radiator and trim, slender body; the gleaming nickel of radiator shell, head-lamps, deck-bars, radiator cap, and motometer; the polished aluminum hub-caps and kick-plates - all these contribute their share toward causing you to fall in love with this Sport Touring.

This car has been designed and built to do just what its name implies - to transport five passengers quickly and comfortably on long tours or short trips, and over rough roads and smooth.

With this thought in mind, the wheelbase has been lengthened to 128 inches, and at the rear has been placed a large trunk holding two suit-cases and a box that can be used for hats or to store other articles. More storage is provided in the pockets on all four doors.

Smart lines, a beautiful finish, a well-tailor top, a comfortable and roomy body, a complete equipment of accessories - these are of slight importance unless mounted on a chassis that will give ease of riding, ample power and speed, great economy, long resistance to wear, and freedom from mechanical troubles.

The Sport Touring chassis will not disappoint you. The six-cylinder, 58-horsepower engine is as smooth and quiet and as free from vibration at sixty miles an hour as it is at a walking pace. And on hills where other cars shift and stall it pulls easily, steadily, and quietly.

Nor will you be disappointed in the economy of this car. The perfectly fitted rings and pistons reduce oil consumption to the minimum. The improved carburetor, preheating of the fuel, and uniform cooling, result in high gasoline mileage. So perfectly balanced is the car as a whole that the tire mileage comes as an agreeable surprise. Your tires should average over 10,000 miles of service.

If properly lubricated and not subjected to abuse, this car should give you satisfactory service for many years. We have letters on file from satisfied Bay State owners whose cars are still performing well after 50,000 miles.
