Long Cadillac 90th Anniversary Donation Recipient

September 15, 2017 Southborough, MA – Long Cadillac is pleased to announce the Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest (BGCMW) as the recipient of their 90th Anniversary donation of $10,000.

The celebration took place Thursday, September 14th at the Long Cadillac dealership located at 218 Turnpike Rd. in Southborough. Among those in attendance were those representing the three final charities under consideration, BGCMW, Fresh Start Furniture Bank, and Resiliency for Life. After an introduction from Scott Barry, Long Cadillac Dealer-Operator, and Charles Long, Long Automotive President, each group gave a brief presentation outlining how they benefit the local community before an audience of Long Cadillac customers and employees.

Guests awaiting the final decision enjoyed an array of appetizers from Tastings Caterers and drinks from the bar staffed by The Vin Bin followed by desert from Cake Shop Café. Entertainment provided by The Greater Boston Vintage Society along with complimentary dance lessons that got everyone in the swing of things recalled the dealership’s 1920s roots. A performance by Boston Lindy Bomb Squad of the “Lindy Hop” invented in 1927, the same year the dealership was formed, delighted the audience and led up to the big announcement.
