Long Cadillac Announces Final Three Charities Under Consideration for 90th Anniversary Donation
August 1, 2017 Southborough, MA – Long Cadillac is pleased to announce that we are inviting the Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest (BGCMW), Fresh Start Furniture Bank, and Resiliency for Life (RFL) to continue through to Phase 3 of our 90th Anniversary Charitable Donation process.
“To celebrate our 90th anniversary, we wanted to continue the tradition of focusing on our community,” said Scott Barry, Long Cadillac Executive Manager. “Each of the ten charitable groups we met with were outstanding and impressive in their own way. It was extremely difficult to narrow it down to three. The BGCMW is well known and we were very interested in working with them right from our first meeting. Fresh Start was a totally new group that we had not heard of prior to our application process, but the volunteer spirit was so contagious, and the work they do so needed, we felt they would be a great candidate. The RFL program is a remarkable one and focuses on helping our teens graduate. And, of course, with our roots in Framingham, they were again a really good fit for what we are trying to accomplish. ”
These three remaining groups will attend a celebratory evening in September at the Long Cadillac dealership. After an opportunity to represent and explain what their groups do to an audience of employees and customers, a final deliberation will determine who takes home the $10,000 donation check that evening.
